COUNSELING |
The Center for Creative
Living a full service counseling facility in Coral Springs, offers specialized
counseling services for adults, adolescents, and children. We provide individual,
couple, family, and group therapy. In addition, we offer psychological testing
to assess such conditions as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD), learning disabilities,
gifted abilities, and various affective/behavioral disorders. We are one of the
few clinical psychology centers in South Florida that deals specifically with
treating the adult and child performer. Our Creative Potential clinicians are
trained and experienced both as therapists and performers, giving them the knowledge
and direct insight in empathy regarding life, pressures, expectations and joys
of performance. This specialized clinical service also includes assisting individuals
and team sports participants of all ages and proficiency levels to enhance their
athletic competence.

Marriage
Counseling
We at the Center for Creative Living are firm believers
in "marital maintenance" therapy. Rather than only contacting a therapist
when in crisis, we believe that maintaining a mutually beneficial and happy relationship
is a lifelong process. Couples with successful marriages realize that there are
life-stages that we all go through that impact our relationships, such as illness,
jobs, children, and at each stage there must be communication as to whether goals
are set and are being met for each of those stages. Working on keeping your spouse
happy will enhance your own satisfaction within the marriage. Identifying your
emotional barriers and learning to work through them, will help you achieve a
more fulfilled marriage. We also offer various clinical modalities to help you
move through and survive the crisis periods in your marriage, including Imago
couples therapy. | |
