Testing is administered by Ron Mercer, PhD, LMHC, BCFE and Patricia
Joyce, PhD, Neuropsychologist.
The
Primary Objective for testing is to enable the clinician, parent,
school or patient to gain a complete understanding of the emotional/
personality/ behavioral and neurological/cognitive factors which
comprise an individual's total affective/reactive field. This
enhances the goal of clinical treatment and academic placement.
Testing
is available for children over the age of seven, adolescents and
adults who display signs/symptoms of affective disorders, i.e.;
depression, anxiety, panic anxiety, etc; cognitive learning processing
disorders; ADD/ADHD, mild autism, Asperger's Syndrome, any pervasive
developmental/spectrum symptom/behavior cluster formation, intelligence
testing or gifted testing. We also provide psychological testing
ordered by family/domestic or criminal courts of law. Both clinicians
are available to consult at schools or provide expert witness
testimony in court.
We
offer a Full Psychological Battery which includes, but is not
limited to, intelligence tests, cognitive tests, ADD testing and
psychological testing, as well as a Partial Psychological Battery
depending on the objective for testing. Whether the testing is
administered for educational/cognitive purposes or for psychological
assessment one of our trained clinicians is available.
